SendGrid Email Setup

Configure SendGrid as the SMTP provider for TrustCyber's passwordless magic-link authentication. Follow each step in order — the whole process takes about 10 minutes.

Step 1
Create a SendGrid account

Sign up for a free SendGrid account (100 emails/day on the free plan).

Go to sendgrid.com and click Start for Free. Complete the registration form with your business email address.

After registration, SendGrid will prompt you to verify your email address. Complete this step before proceeding.

Step 2
Verify your sender identity

Authenticate your sending domain so emails don't land in spam.

Step 3
Create an API key

Generate a restricted API key with Mail Send permission only.

Step 4
Configure environment secrets

Add the SMTP credentials to TrustCyber using the Secrets panel.

Step 5
Test email delivery

Send a test magic-link email to confirm end-to-end delivery.

Step 6
Monitor deliverability

Use SendGrid's Activity Feed to track opens, clicks, and bounces.
